The west siberian laika is affectionate and devoted to his owner. The majority of them bark at a strangers approaching the house and the attitude to unfamiliar people varies individually and depends on the situation. Some dogs first bark and then greeting the guest, but some can be proactive to their master.

I decided to breed Laikas because I love this hunting race which is still very close to nature. I have studied other similar races, but for me it was clear that the most suitable dog for me would be a west-Siberian Laika. My dogs are part of the family so they live in the house and not some where looked up outside in a kennel. Furthermore I only have west siberian laikas and no other races. In 2019 I passed the ACACED-exam for breeders in France at Erstein. 

My purpose is to breed a healthy race and therefore it is important to match the right combination of the female and the male dog and perform health tests. The pedigree is very helpful, because you can avoid making crossovers in the lines, which is important if you want to create healthy dog.
